“Taking part of the Motherhood Leadership Coaching program was an incredible experience and I feel so lucky that my employer supported me and encouraged me to take part in it. While many concepts explored during the programs were things that I was already intellectually aware of, the program helped me move from the knowing to the doing, which is often so hard to do. The nine group coaching sessions and optional “homework” created a much needed structure and non-judgmental space for me to reflect on important areas of my life that many other working moms struggled with.
It helped me to identify core values in order to inform decisions both at home and work, and it made me feel more at peace with embracing the messiness of raising little humans while, also having a busy job. The program helped me move from a negative and lacking mindset around being a working mom to a more positive one, where I am able to recognize all the positive elements I bring to my job precisely because I am a mom and, as a multi-faceted human that is not only defined by what I do during my working day.
Another powerful element of this program was having the opportunity to hear from other amazing women and realize that I am not alone in many of my struggles. Their stories were truly powerful and inspiring.
Finally, the coaches Jen and Sonja were absolutely amazing. I love the way they carefully selected each weekly topic and how well prepared they were to guide a diverse group of women in this coaching journey.
Thank you!”

“I think the biggest shift for me in taking the Motherhood Leadership Coaching program has definitely been my ability to quiet my inner critic. I felt out of place a lot of times at work. My inner critic was always telling me that all these people are so much smarter than me at work and they have so many better ideas. And I have had a total 180 after taking this program! I just feel so much more confident, and I now feel like I have a lot to offer at work and I deserve a seat at the table.
I also haven’t felt guilty (for self-care time). I have been able to relax more and it’s been very freeing. I feel like I can do that and not have the guilt associated with it. It’s been great. I loved this program. Thank you so much.”

“I’m so grateful I found this community of women 3 months into my return to work from maternity leave. I have never related to a group of women more, and I’m so thankful to Maturn for providing us a place to feel seen and heard.
The sessions have resonated deeply for me, whether it’s about redefining work life balance, reminding ourselves of our true values, or boundaries discussions. Jen and Sonja have a way of bringing knowledge forward, posing questions to our group, and ultimately empowering us as both mothers and as leaders.
I highly recommend the Motherhood Leadership Coaching program and feel so fortunate to be returning to work at a time when there are such incredible resources available to mothers. I encourage you to speak to your employer about whether they would be willing to support this learning and growth experience for you.”

“I’ve had the pleasure of participating in the Maturn Motherhood + Leadership coaching program over the past two months. As a mother of two young children and a leader, I’ve been fortunate to have the employer support and flexibility I’ve needed to balance the demands of my career and parenthood over the last few years. But even when I had all the employer support I needed, I was still placing unrealistic expectations and pressure on myself, which affected how I’d show up at home and work. The tools and resources we’ve worked through have helped me shift the thoughts that have been getting in my way and helped me gain more confidence to lead with my values. Learning and sharing with other leaders/mothers has been one of the greatest aspects of being a part of this program.”
