Whether you’ve been trying to conceive for six months or five years, our upcoming program is here to support you. At Maturn, we understand that the road to motherhood can profoundly impact your professional life, and we’re here to help you navigate both with more clarity, compassion, and confidence.
Who is The Dual Path For?
Self-identifying women actively trying to conceive who have experienced or are experiencing challenges along the way.
Women on diverse paths to motherhood – whether you’re embarking on this journey on your own or with a partner.
What’s included in the Program?
The program will run over 2 months with 8 sessions in total. You will be supported in a group with other women on the leadership and fertility journey, and be guided by expert coaches and facilitators. Given that women worldwide are joining the program, we offer this virtually to make it as accessible as possible. Sessions will be approx. 1 hr and 15 minutes and take place during the work day.
Coaching Sessions

SESSION 1: Connecting with Others on a Shared Journey
Navigating a fertility journey as a woman in leadership can be isolating as the journey is often misunderstood and filled with unseen struggles. This first session will create connection with others who understand the breadth and depth of the journey you’re on.

- Understand your current mindset related to your fertility journey

SESSION 2: The Impact of Fertility on Your Day-to-Day Performance at Work
A fertility journey affects your well-being and inevitably impacts your personal, social and work domains. This session will explore the significant impact a fertility journey can have on your ability to perform and excel at work and how you can relieve some pressure.
- Identify unhelpful feelings related to your fertility journey and how they impact your performance at work
- Discuss how to navigate the logistics of a fertility journey – the appointments, difficult news, plans changing at short notice, navigating announcements/baby showers
- Define areas where you can invite in self-compassion and give yourself grace

SESSION 3: Ambition, Achievement and Establishing What’s in Your Control
Many mixed feelings can surface when a fertility journey does not go as expected – particularly when your life has been filled with achievement and success. This session will explore how ambition and achievement can both serve and undermine your fertility journey and career.
- Explore how ambition and achievement intersect with the fertility journey.
- Redefine success in a way that aligns with your values, well-being, and unique circumstances.
- Learn actionable tools to navigate career aspirations while managing the emotional and logistical complexities of fertility.

SESSION 4: The Impact of Fertility on Your Long-Term Career Aspirations
The uncertainty surrounding your fertility journey often collides with your long-term career aspirations. This session will support you and any stuckness you are feeling to help you pursue your personal and career goals.
- Assess where you might be inadvertently holding yourself back in your career
- Explore the feelings of being stuck or on hold, and how to navigate changing jobs, promotions, special assignments, etc.

SESSION 5: Caring for Yourself
A challenging fertility journey and a demanding career can feel all-consuming, and you can lose sight of who you are throughout the journey. This session will provide you with practical tools to assess your energy and priorities so that you can feel more connected to yourself and what matters to you.
- Get crystal clear on your priorities
- Develop a plan to manage your energy and establish necessary boundaries
- Reconnect with who you are and what brings you joy

SESSION 6: Disclosing Your Fertility Journey
Deciding to share your fertility journey in the professional sphere can expose a private, vulnerable and intimate side of your life. Each person traversing a fertility journey will have a different comfort level with whom and what they share. This session will support you to intentionally consider what you want to disclose, if at all.
- Identify what matters to you when deciding to share your journey
- Explore what to consider about your workplace before disclosing
- Determine how to navigate a workplace that may feel unsupportive

SESSION 7: Navigating Relational Changes
One of the reasons that a fertility journey can feel isolating is that even those close to you often don’t fully understand the impact a fertility journey has on you. This session will explore some of the common relational challenges that surface when navigating a fertility journey and your career, and identify other areas of support that might be beneficial.
- Explore thoughts and feelings that might be surfacing in your partnership (if partnered)
- Set boundaries and request what you need from family, friends and colleagues
- Identify other people in your social circle and community that might be able to support you

SESSION 8: Fertility and Your Leadership Development
Fertility has a lasting impact on your identity, career and professional development. This session will explore the profound growth that your fertility journey has had on you and your leadership.

What You Can Expect:
Group Coaching: A program that connects you with other career-driven women who are also on the fertility journey, whether it’s your first or fourth time.
Expert Facilitators: Our facilitators are coaches with experience working with women on the fertility journey.
Guidance for Navigating Career and Fertility: Learn how to maintain your professional momentum while navigating the unique challenges of fertility, surrogacy, or adoption.
Frequently Asked Questions
When does this program start and during what time of the day?
Early 2025. By joining the waitlist, you will be the first to know. Limited spots will be available. The program will run for 8 weeks virtually and run during the working day.
How much does it cost?
The cost will of the program is $2,500 plus applicable taxes. Payment plans will be available and we also encourage you to utilize any of your professional development budget or see if your organization will support you.
What’s your refund policy?
We understand that life can sometimes take unexpected turns, and we aim to support our participants in every way possible. Although Maturn doesn’t offer refunds for this program, we’re more than happy to work with you to explore alternative solutions. Whether that means rescheduling your participation for a future cohort or offering other resources to meet your needs, we’re here to ensure you get the most out of your experience.
Should I ask my employer to pay for this?
Many of our Maturn community receive funding for our programs but it’s entirely up to you if you want to ask. If you are ok disclosing to your employer that you are on the fertility journey and would appreciate the support, then that is a decision we leave in your capable hands.
Is the program virtual or in person?
Given we will have women from all over the world participating, the program will be virtual and sessions will be held via zoom.
Is this for women who are trying to adopt or have a surrogate?
If the topics resonate for you and you see yourself benefiting from a community of support, including a coach and Registered Clinical Counsellor then we encourage you to join. This cohort is inclusive for all self-identifying women on the path to having children.
What if I get pregnant while I am in the program?
Well, yay! If you do, we still believe the content and curriculum are very relevant to the stage you are in and encourage you to finish the full 8 weeks in the program.
Do I need to be actively trying to conceive to join the program?
Not necessarily. We recognize that some women decide to take breaks on their own fertility paths. If the content of the program resonates for you and you are on or have been on the fertility journey, then we believe this program is for you.
It says for “women leaders”, can I participate if I am not in a leadership role?
Yes, this program is designed to enhance leadership skills at any level, from aspiring leaders to women in executive roles, with an additional focus on managing fertility and personal health.
Will I need to disclose personal fertility information?
No, sharing personal fertility details is entirely optional. The program provides a safe space for participants to learn and discuss openly, but all sharing is voluntary and confidential.
What if I can’t make some of the sessions live?
No problem at all, we completely understand life happens! While we highly encourage you to join the sessions live, we record every session and send out the recordings within 24 hours of the session so you can watch on your own time.
